Created in 1921 by Gabrielle Chanel and perfumer Ernest Beaux, N°5 was a visionary, avant-garde fragrance — an abstract scent in an era of single-note florals. In 2008, Jacques Polge, the Chanel perfumer at the time, reinterpreted his predecessor's radical composition by approaching N°5 from a new angle, revealing its hidden side: EAU PREMIÈRE, a light, airy, luminous version of the now and forever fragrance.

Not a fan

I love Chanel No. 5 perfume. I had thought that this version may be great to add to my collection, but was disappointed. It is close the original scent but not what I was expecting. Love Chanel products.

Only Fragrance my wife will wear

This is my wife's favorite. She will not wear any other perfume. It does not have an overpowering scent. It is very subtle and long lasting.

Not a Chanel smell

It’s almost no smell. Lasting about an hour . Powder with citrus - bad combination . No Chanel box, tissue or bag . No samples.

Chanel Eau Premier Eau de Parfum

I love Chanel and have several fragrances. My husband gave me Eau Premier a few years ago and I just purchased my second bottle. Love this fragrance along with #5!
