First BROOKS

Didn’t know what to expect but thought I’d give these a try due to numerous positive reviews. This is my first pair of BROOKS and so far I’m impressed. They’re primarily for my Alaskan trip in September and hope they're as comfortable as described. So far there has been no breakin and they’ve been supportive. The tip is a bit more pointed than expected but I’m good.

Width is completely off

I typically buy size 10 regular width shoes, but I bought these specifically in a wide width for upcoming travel (I tend to swell when flying). They arrived, I tried them on during a normal day with nonswollen feet, and they are significantly more narrow than any of my other regular width shoes, from various brands. Sincerely confused on what metric was used to determine fit width here.

Great at leisure tennis shoe

I am a big fan of Naturalizers. I have a high arch and a narrow foot, and I typically wear a size 8.5. I’m always looking for shoes that won’t make my feet look larger. I often use arch support, but I haven’t tried it with these shoes yet. I love the two-tone design, as it makes my foot appear smaller. The shoelaces are not excessively long, which has been a recent trend. Initially, the shoes felt a bit stiff, but I wore them all day without any issues. Like them so much just ordered another pair in black. .

So versatile and comfortable

I absolutely love these sneakers. They look great with dress slacks and a blzer or with jeans and a tee. I’m sure I’ll wear them with casual skirts and dresses, too. So versatile. And, they fit true to size (I’m 8.5W), have no break-in period and are super comfortable right from Day 1.
