Loved these lights until the brass coating rusted

It has been about less than a year since purchswe these stylish string lights. I had enjoyed thier beauty all summer . I paid more for them because of the “brass” finish that made them different from all the other string light products out there. But recently in Southern California we ha rain storms. Now the brass outer casing on each lightbulb is rusted! So disappointed that I paid so much more for these than a typical black plastic string light only to have them rust. They are suppose to be “heavy duty” and “outdoor” grade.
