Adorable, but runs very very small

I normally wear an xl, but bought this on Black Friday special in both XL and XXL. they were both too small. I'm quite disappointed because they're the cutest Christmas shirts I've seen in v-neck. Plus size has the same pattern but is in v-neck. For the great price and quality I wish I could keep them but they are both way too tight. For r the style I would give five stars, but for the poor fit none.
