I LOVE this book!!!!!!

I got into her book about a 4 months ago and after reading this I read all of her books. It's a perfect, charming, and clean romance for teens. I 100% recommend. I loved it so much I gifted it to my best friend and I'm also giving her the sequal.

Absolute Favorite

BTTM has to be one of my favorite it’s filled with moments where i just had to pause for a few seconds, shut my book, and breath!! Overall I loved the way the characters were written I can’t see them any other way and the way Lynn Painter writes is quite underrated!

Great Book! Just Too Much Cursing

The story itself was amazing! There were some comments that Liz made about her friends having "perfect sex" and when she and Wes were in the car together (they were only kissing, but she expressed to herself that she wanted to go further). My only problem was the cursing. Every page I turned there was a bad word. I would not recommend if your kids pick up swearing from movies/books and then think its okay to swear after watching/reading. But other than that, cute book!

SOOOO GOOOOD

This book is so fun and had me literaly kicking my feet. I read this book in ONE DAY! There was very little spice if any. I am 14 and homeschooled and I didn't have any problems! it was such a good book, highly recomend.

Excellent

I had low expectations going into reading this book but it took me by surprise. It was genuinely one of the sweetest books I've ever read. It felt as if I was Liz and I was experience everything with her. It had me giggling and kicking my feet. The writing was excellent and the execution was wonderful. My absolute favorite book I've ever read.

A Swoon-worthy Romance for the Ages

Better Than the Movies feels like slipping into your favorite rom-com-- familiar, comforting, and impossible not to love. I adored how Liz viewed the world through playlists and movie moments, holding onto hope even when things didn't go as planned. The banter was sharp, the emotions genuine, and every chapter carried that quiet thrill of 'almost'. The scene I whole-heartedly adored: The drive-in movie. It felt so soft and cinematic, like everything finally had clicked into place. In that moment, all the longing finally just made sense. -Italiana

AMAZING

I bought this and picked it up pretty quickly and loved the characters liv and Wes.There is no spice ❤️‍🔥so I would say the age group is 11 and up.Overall this is a 5 star ⭐️ read.
