poor quality

I have a collection of Spode Christmas dishes. I saw these mugs and decided to add them to my collection. To my surprise when they arrived they were not in a Spode box like all the others I have. Instead the arrived in a plain cardboard box. The trees on the mugs are pale in color and the plaid border is not a crisp green and red. They appear to be seconds or regects. As I am not near a Macys, rather than go to the trouble of returning them I have kept them but shame on you Macy’s for selling something so poor in quality. These mugs are nowhere near the same colors and quality of my other Spode dishes.
