Use Amazon brands stay away from the price gouging
Been using the Amazon brand of filters for over 10 years in my LG refrigerators. Never an issue and 80% cheaper stay away from these.

Expensive but it works
Easy to install. Never had an issue with this filter and it doesn't leak. My only issue is the price. It is substantially more expensive than the off brands, but the wuality does appear to be better.

Who designed this thing?
Having to unload a double wide shelf,remove the two shelves and then reach up to the back of the fridge was great fun for an 88 yearold guy. Then the filter cover would not come off smoothie.After putting in the new filter everything reversed and installing the cover was even more fun. Better placement and using one lousy screw would have made this easy.Design gets an F.

Easy and accurate fridge water filter re-order
Fridge water filter was ordered with the QR code from LG that came with fridge. It was great to get correct size filter.

Poor Tasting Water from Filter - Not Recommended
Filter adds a very unpleasant taste to the water. Water was run through the filter per mfg recommendation.

Has Performed Well
I recently purchased a package of three water filters for our LG refrigerator we’ve had for a little over six months. LG offered a special price offering for them which was a nice incentive to purchase the filters. To date, the filter we used has performed well and the water tastes fine.
