Lazy engineering

Idk who has been designing coffee makers lately but from the Ninjas poorly designed lip on their pots to this one not having a lid that opens all the way to properly pour water into for brewing a pot without spilling all over your filter and counter just baffles me at the poorly thought out approach to design.

Great options

I love the versatility of this coffee maker. Basic pot of coffee as well as pods and nesspresso pods. With the steamer frother for mold I can go from basic. Great tasting coffee to a coffee shop expensive drink in my own home with little effort. Best of all options in coffee makers.

Best pod coffee ever

After years of using a Keurig single-serve, a Black & Decker 12-cup drip, and a Breville espresso maker, I decided to consolidate all 3 functions with this Cuisinart 4-in-1. BEST pod-brewed coffee ever! I intend to purchase this as gifts for friends/family getting married, setting up a new home, etc. Wish I'd had this earlier. It looks great, works beautifully, and opens up critical counter space by eliminating 3 separate appliances.

New beast machine!!

Good news, found out how to make 1 espresso shot. Not sure about all the functionality at this point BUT, my biggest concern is the literal Cup Holder is wonky for like every coffee mug we own! Even taking out the plastic sleeve thingie. That part is a fail I'm afraid...

Why I can't give this 5 stars

All of the functions of this coffee maker do what they're supposed to do. Single serve coffee, espresso and pots of coffee. My big problem with this machine is the terrible instructions. Nowhere do they explain how many times you need to push the on/off button to get the brewer to start making a pot of coffee (it's 2) and nowhere do they explain that you need to push the on/off button twice to turn the hot plate off. The first time I used it I ended up having to unplug the entire pot to get it to stop! I am a college educated person - it shouldn't be this hard to write clear, concise instructions for a pot like this.
