Practical sourdough starter kit for newbies
I decided to get ob the sourdough starter bandwagon with the rest of the world and was in search of a starter kit. From everything I've read, a starter kit really isn't necessary but I felt since I was a newbie I'd rather have a kit to get me going. This one is nice because of the two jars you can switch off every other day with a new clean jar when "feeding" your starter. It also comes with a measuring cup "lid" to measure out the flour and water if you do to have a scale handy at home. And the rubber bands are helpful to track your starters growth. The only downfalls for me is that I am not a fan of the white labels as it looks tacky with the nice clear mason jars - wish they were clear. And for some odd reason the spatula was missing in the box. Fortunately I have several at home which I used. I reached out to Macy's letting them know it was missing and the customer service rep discounted my purchase which was nice of her. Am happy I purchased!
