LOVED and SOBBED

What makes this book so unforgettable is how real The story carries this quiet tension the entire time. You can feel the “what if” hanging over every moment. Every almost-conversation, every glance, every missed chance builds into something heavy and emotional. It’s not dramatic in a loud way — it’s devastating in a soft, slow way. I thought it was so emotional and so touching. There were parts where I had to just stop and breathe And stare for minuets wondering wtf I just read. It made me think about timing, fate, and how fragile relationships can be. It’s the kind of book that stays with you long after you close it. If you love heartfelt, bittersweet stories about first love and the consequences of missed opportunities, this one will absolutely break your heart. The second one is so so so heartbreaking and gut wrenching

If I could I would give this book a 3.5/5

On September 4th, 2024 - 5:32PM, I had just finished If He Had Been With Me, I got that book November or December of 2023 and it took me 10 months—at least—to finish it. I loved it. In the beginning, the exposition dragged, at some point of the book I got bored. Until I realized at the very end, the book got extremely intriguing. The way the author described things was unbelievable. I promised myself I wouldn’t cry while reading this book. I was wrong. If I could, I would definitely read it all over again.

This book will always have a special place in my heart.i will say it's a tear jerker but it really gives you hope on true love and to be grateful for what time you have with people and to use it wisely

I finished this book in one day I could not put it down. This was an absolutely beautiful story and I would say around chapter 10 is when I was very hooked. The ending was written beautifully and it was very sad. This book was amazing. Truly great writing.

Hands down amazing

This book has had me in a chokehold for the past 2 days and after finishing it, I can say that it is definitely worth the read. It gives you a whole new perspective on life in a way and i absolutely love the way this was written.

The second book has much more deep emotions.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a good to read. But for me, it didn’t show me emotions throughout the whole reading. It’s overhype but overall, this has friendship, love, childhood, high school, drama, and much more. But if you’re not into these type of stuff then it’s not worth your time to read. I’d prefer the second book. Has more depth than this book. In my opinion.
