Great vaccuum
I just used it for the first time, I did 3 small rooms that I have in my upstairs mother in law apt. It filled the canister 3/4 full. I couldn’t believe it. I vacuum my floors since I have a cat. It looked like I didn’t vacuum for months. How embarrassing. My old vac was picking up surface dirt without getting the stuff underneath. I only have one full carpeted room and 2 hard floors. I’m happy with my purchase.

Wish it was easier to be able to fix/clean
In trying to clean the brush roller but I can’t find a way to get too it. And on some vacuums is more in the bottom not the top. It’s harder trying to open it when you have to flip it to have the body of the vacuum trying to lay down.

We can understand how frustrating that is when you're simply trying to maintain your vacuum properly. If you notice hair wrapped around the self-cleaning brushroll, we recommend continuing to vacuum on Setting II (Carpet) over hard floors to help move the hair into the dust cup. If any hair or fibres remain, carefully cut them away with scissors and remove them. We don't recommend opening the unit, as this can affect your warranty. Great for pet hair
My house has dog hair tumbleweeds daily. This vacuum handles the hair. It is easy to maneuver. Older models had a light on the front which I miss.

My FAVORITE vacuum!!
This is my second Shark Upright in 10 years. I have multiple dogs in a small house. Vacuuming is a daily necessity (Including the front porch)! My first Shark withstood the test of dog fur, debris, grandchildren and guests! I did have to replace various components (things break with excessive use). The cost is always reasonable and delivery fast. It is an understatement that I LOVED it. My new Shark shows signs of being just as awesome and my first!

So far, it is working great. Picking up way more than my last vacuum did and helps with the dog odor.

Yeah, No.
So never buy this. Sure it vaccums, just like any vaccum cleaner. But god you have hold the cord the ENTIRE time. You can move forward, but as soon as you move it backwards it goes right over it. Atleast get a cord that can like go back in on itself with a button? And the suction on the nozzle is pretty good, but as soon as you want to vaccum anything thats fabric with it, it sucks it up AND the fabric and shoots all the crumbs everywhere. Everytime i use it i hold back tears because of how frustrated this gets me. Dont ever buy this unless you hate yourself.

Do not recommend
Bought less than a year ago, and the cord is already ripped and the top part is broke where it goes into the handle. I have always loved shark but I feel like they have went downhill. I tried to add pictures and it wasn’t working

good suction
This is a great sweeper. I am glad i decided to go with this one. It definitely removes a lot of pet hair. The only con- i wish it had lights on the front of the sweeper but that is not a deal breaker.
