Estée Lauder Super charged gel cream

After using Estée Lauder for 21 years, I have to say the new eye cream is absolutely horrible. It made my eyelids red and inflamed and felt like a chemical burn. . I received mine with the gift with purchase in November, and i had no idea Estée had changed the eye cream. The new ingredients are too strong and from all of the remarks on here, I see I am not the only one with the same reaction. You are going to lose a lot of good customers with this new and improved eye cream, including me !

Didn't work for me

I used this for about a week and a half with no issues, and then suddenly I woke up with my eyes extremely red, dry and peeling like crazy. This went on for several days. I had to treat them with vitamin E oil to get my skin back on track. Since switching to Advanced Night Repair, I haven't had any problems so far!

Chemical burn

Horrible burn under eyes. Really thought this would be great but ended up wasting money along with a doctors visit and more money spent on prescription ointment to heal it.

Bad Reaction

I received this in a sample kit with my Estée Lauder order and now have what I thought was dermatitis under my eyes until I read other reviews and see others having this same issue. I don't have sensitive skin and have never had anything like this before. Maybe it was a bad batch? It itches like crazy and burns.

Bad reaction

I used this product for about two weeks and then woke up to red, burning eyes with dry, crusty areas in my outer and inner eyes. I immediately stopped using the product and days later I am still dealing with it. There isn't any retinol in this product so I am not sure what is causing these issues, but I see from other reviews that I'm not alone. I will be returning the product.

Do not recommend

I was really excited to try the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Gel Cream, especially because I got it as part of a gift set and assumed that the price reflected a high-quality product. The first time I used it, I didn't notice any issues. The next day, my eyes felt a little puffy, but I attributed it to lack of sleep. By the third day, however, I noticed tingling and a burning sensation under my eyes. I stopped using the cream to let my skin recover and even adjusted my skincare routine to see if it was interacting with other products, but the burning persisted. Eventually, the irritation worsened and turned into what felt like a chemical burn, leaving my under-eye area red and puffy. Thankfully, the skin did not break. I cannot comment on the ingredients, but based on my experience, this product did not work for me and I would not recommend it.
