Gorgeous Visuals

Really beautiful display, in perfect condition, the bass is so thumpy that I've been testing it on various surfaces to get an idea of how it sounds. The JBL Portable app is super easy to use, I've settled on the Rainbow effect. Totally worth!

Pulse 5 Bad Sound

Speaker sound is aweful. Not sure if I received a defective product or it’s just a bad sounding speaker. I tried everything suggested, resetting the speaker with the app etc but no improvement. I am returning the speaker.

I love these speakers

This speaker arrived very quickly and was well packaged. The light shows are the main reason for me buying not 1 buy 2 of these speakers. I have zero issues with the sound quality. The JBL ap 8s easy to use but I wish there was a way to make make my own light shows or to be able to pick more from the inbuilt ones rather than have to stick to 1 particular category. Linking the 2 speakers is very easy to do and works flawlessly. It's just a shame that the EQ settings that I have set cant be used when pairing both speakers together. Battery life could always be better I guess but I have found that bringing down the brightness of the light shows helps.

Good sound and good light show

Sound is good for the size of the speaker. It has plenty of different light settings to suit people’s tastes. I particularly like the fireside setting with a crackling fire. You can just use it as an ambient light source without music or sound. The price is good too.
