Never again! Towel shed like crazy

Just look at the photos. I've been using Lacoste towels for more than 10 years and yes, they have been getting poorer in quality over the past few years, but never like this. This is after the first wash. The towel shed like crazy (clumps and clumps of lint) and the shedding clogged up the drainage holes in my washing machine. I wasn't going to put this towel in my dryer. I ended up just throwing away this bath sheet, unused. No point keeping it. It's unacceptable. Never buying Lacoste again. Total waste of money. And after all that, I had to clean off all the lint that was left all over the inside of my washer.
