bad, bad
this fan is expensive ,and is suppose to be heavy duty's what they said, only used one to two months out of the year and keep it clean and boxed when not in use,,,,surprise after 5 years is not working at all and is not the fuse, nobody could help me to see and fix problem,,,,last time I buy any tornado fan

It works well
This fan replaced one that I ran night and day while my sister visited. I had it for many years. Most fans are smaller. This one is a perfect size and circulates air in a 9 x 12 room. I loved being able to see it in my apt. using a photo on my phone.

Good product, not fire proof.
Had one of these in my goat barn for a few years and the goats loved it. That was until there was a fire, and it burnt to a pile of ash, except the base that did make it and gave us quite a laugh.

The 293 really blows!
The 293 blows! Happy Fathers Day! I just received my yellow Vornado 293. The first thing I did was flipped the face cover and installed it with the handle on the bottom to maintain that classically beautiful Vornado look. I removed my smaller model 630 and set the 293 in it's place. The idea was to move air down the hallway towards the front of the house from my evaporative cooler that is installed in the bedroom. Within minutes, his resulted in a slight breeze in the living room with a temperature drop of nearly 5 degrees. I am very happy with this fantastic fan! Key facts: -Low is 42 watts, medium is 53 watts, and high is more like turbo mode at 70 watts. -MADE IN USA I have at least 5 Vornados. If you are willing to screw one to the wall, or install it on a hallway doorjam you will not believe how much air they can move. My advise to you is to throw out those oscillating fans and buy a Vornado. P.S. If you have a box fan don't throw it away. Tape a high quality 20x20 A/C filter to the back of it and you'll have the most economical room filtration ever. It is literally THE ONLY thing that those fans are useful for;)
