Comfortable, roomy sturdy

Real sturdy shoe. Comfortable. No snags. Only thing is that the laces are hooked on at the top and fall and have to be resecured pretty much everytime

If you need "wide" this brand is NOT for you.

If you need "wide" this brand is NOT for you. Even the wides are extremely narrow (they feel like regulars). I've bought wide in several different brands over the years... this brand is either mislabeling regular shoes as wide or they really don't understand the concept of wide shoes for comfort. I'm returning them.

Awesome boots!!!

I just bought these and right out of the box they are comfortable and felt so good I didn’t even need to break them in. Wore them hiking. I’m going to buy another pair just to have and wear off trails they feel so good. I have lots of foot pain and these boots are sweet!!

Not black/ black as advertised

I'm not sure if Columbia's quality control inspector is color blind, on vacation or just out to lunch but the Men's Transverse™ Hike Waterproof Shoe is anything but black/ black. Its more black & blue/Grey slate
