Loving the Olive! Gone too soon!

Honestly, in love. Le Creuset has always been my dream cookware to own. I fell in love when they released the color (olive) and slowly started to collect pieces over the last year since I finally had "adult money" to do so. I was even slowly saving to take advantage of any holiday deals this year... THEN! They announced retiring the color! My husband upon finding out and knowing how much I had been trying to save, agreed that I should purchase everything I could ! We are blessed we are in a financial place that we could do so. I have 10 pieces that I know I will cherish for the whole of our lives, that are quality and dependable. LOVE LE CREUSET!

Horrible Packing and Shipping

Macy's sent a used item that was not in the original packaging. The box it was placed in was not adequate and was crushed. leaving the pot scratched. And there was a sticker indicating this was not a new item but rather a return.

Beautiful but please convey sizing better

LOVE the piece but it was a bit smaller than i expected. I bought it for my daughter, i was measuring my old pieces and the sizing changed over the years? also this one is lighter than my old ones. Its a beautiful piece, i was just a little surprised on the size/ weight compared to my 20+ year old pieces

Beautiful

Really beautiful dish. I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet but it is extremely well made. I was very happy that I was able to get it on sale by accepting the discontinued color. But color doesn't matter to me and this is so well made I expect to have it and pass it on to future generations

I want another one

I honestly didn’t get the hype until I got my first Dutch. It cooks so evenly, honestly faster, and clean up is great.

This Dutch Oven is a classic piece of cookware

I already had a 5 qt Le Creuset dutch oven that I purchased 20 years ago. It still looks & cooks amazingly. I have been making a lot of stews & soups & needed a slightly larger pot to contain the liquid. This pot fits my needs & cooks like a dream. It is a bit heavy but the sturdy integrated handles make it easy to move around. I fully expect that it will last longer than I will. I told my daughter it's part of her inheritance!
