Works alright but not the quality I was expecting
Not what i expected for the price it’s thin and doesn’t seem like it will be standing up to the test of time,I do like the placement of the handle it’s far enough away from the heat.

Rusting
Just purchased and it's already rusted on the inside. I left water overnight and it rusted that quickly. I have a stainless steel tea kettle from IKEA for several years. On occasion I've left water overnight but hasn't rusted. I already threw away the box, otherwise I would return it. It should not rust from the inside with ONE overnight water.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a frustrating experience with your BISTRO Stovetop Gooseneck Water Kettle. This kettle is made of premium stainless steel and should not rust, so it’s more likely that what you’re seeing is limescale buildup or other residue from mineralized water after boiling; descaling with a store-bought solution or a vinegar and hot water mix should restore it. Please note that we don’t recommend leaving water in the kettle overnight, as this can accelerate mineral buildup or bacteria growth. If the issue persists, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team at support@bodum.com with more details. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with your BISTRO Stovetop Gooseneck Kettle. The BISTRO is made out of premium stainless steel, so it is likely that the discoloration you are noticing on the inside of your kettle is actually limescale buildup as opposed to rust. We recommend descaling your BISTRO regularly according to the instructions included in your user manual, using either a solution of vinegar and water, or a descaling solution, which will keep the interior of your kettle shiny and clean. If the issue persists, or you would like to share more details about your experience, please feel free to reach out directly to our customer service team at support@bodum.com.
