Great Price with Real Leather Smell!

My husband loved his gift of a new Johnston Murphy briefcase. Purchasing was easy online, it arrived promptly and the price was $50 less than buying direct from the manufacturer. Thanks Macy's!

Great briefcase!

I got it for my husband for Christmas and he lives it. The leather is so soft. It scratches easily, but that’s because the leather is good. I’d recommend - but I wish it would have gone on sale.

Good Material with Construction Issues

I received this as a gift (in the mail) from my mother and I have mixed feelings about the product. The leather feels like quality leather and the zippers feel like a good zipper should. The back side unfortunately has a couple of puckers in the stitching. Big ones that shouldn't have passed quality inspection, making me wonder what else was missed. They're on the back and nobody will ever really see them, so I guess that's okay. I suggest that if you're planning on purchasing this bag, try to pick it up in the store so you can inspect it yourself.

Very Nice Quality

The J&M bags I own have been very durable. Zippers on other bags I've used have worn out, basically splitting open and not closing properly, while my J&M ones are still working great. They've earned my respect as a quality company.

Classy, classic-- but a bit narrow

So excited to gift this to my son-in-law for meetings with clients. Enough room for his computer plus documents. I just wish it was a bit bigger to accommodate a larger amount of files.

Briefcase for Success!

Great briefcase! Sturdy and easy to organize/find things in it. This was a gift to my boyfriend who has been dying to have one and was a celebration of his success in his career. The color is gorgeous and the material is worth every penny.
