Poor Quality

I used to love Land End’s towels and have bought them for years. These don’t live up to my previous purchases. They are light weight and flimsy. I was hoping washing them would help, but no such luck.

Wash bath towels in cold and delicate?

These towels are very soft and fluffy enough. However, due to all of the complaints about shedding, I checked the tag which said to WASH them in COLD and DELICATE! What? That is not good hygiene! And on top of that, DRY on DELICATE. The directions sound like what I would use for a dressy shirt. I did wash them the first time like that and I did not have any fluff come off in the washer or when used after showering. There was a fair amount in the lint vent which I empty after each wash, but that is pretty normal with new cotton fabric items washed the first time. Since then, I have washed them in warm and delicate and they seem okay so far. When I dry them on delicate, it does take a long time to dry. I don’t think I have the patience to continue babying these towels so I hope they last. If I had known the washing directions, which were NOT SITE WHEN I ORDERED them, I would not have bought them.

Super soft!

After using these super soft towels, I had to order 2 more sets. The difference in softness between them and ones I had been using for 2 years was so great that I had to replace the older towels.

Thick, soft, absorbent & generous size. First wash yielded some lint but less than other towels I've tried. Very happy with the purchase.

Very soft and absorbent

Much softer and absorbent than Fieldcrest towels purchased recently. Check weight when choosing towels. The higher, the better.

Great quality towels at good price

These are very fluffy towels with great absorption. They will replace a set that has been through about 80 washes and are gradually getting less soft

Thick and absorbent

Plush large bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth. Wash cloth was soft for cleaning my face. Very absorbent and warm when getting out of the bath. Washed and dried before use and the towels still looked brand new. Beautiful color.
