Changed price after checking out

Macy's did supposedly apply my credit to this purchase, but after checking out, I was charged full price not reflected in the pre-approval. And my credits are gone now. Want to cancel, but there is no option to do so. Seriously thinking of never shopping again at Macy's after all these years. Also, prices change on same items depending on which screen you return to. Not good practice.
