Cars break easily

I really wish I would’ve read the reviews. The cars have already broken. We’ve only used it a handful of times. The puzzle itself is nice, but a bit stiff.

Very poor vehicles, as many others have noted

Great idea but terrible execution. Cars became over-wound and non-functional after one week -- even when I, the adult, was the one always winding them. The fundamental problem is the cars can't even travel around the track once without risking the over-winding. I have studied the cars and tried to open them, without cracking them, in order to try to repair them, but this appears impossible; I suppose it is a safety feature. And no spare cars are sold?

Received this as a gift for my son and the cars no longer stay on the track. They wind up but keep going off course, this is upsetting as his loves this very much and am not able to get replacement cars for it.

One of the best gifts I've ever given. Kids loved

This puzzle was a huge hit with my littles. In the span of two weeks, they put it together, took it apart and put it together again at least 30 times. I also loved getting them acquainted with the names of landmarks. What a bonus. I could not recommend this higher. My only wish is that the cars drove a little longer with a full winding.

Fun set but the cars are the weak point.

Very fun set that my kid loves. Simple yet entertaining. Unfortunately one of the cars stopped working after about 3 months of play. Based on other reviews it seems that is the case for other customers as well and that replacement cars are not available without buying the whole set again. That’s too bad and surprising from a quality company such as Melissa and Doug.
