The Dyson Gen5detect is Dyson's most powerful cordless vacuum. It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the power, intelligence, versatility, and run time for a cleaner, healthier home. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up.(3) The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. The Fluffy Optic cleaner head reveals invisible dust on hard floors. The de-tangling Digital Motorbar cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors without tangles. Its versatile cordless format transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click so you can clean up high, down low, and everywhere in between. Great machine

I bought this gen5 complete care about a month ago, I am happy about this upgraded from v8 Even gen5 is a bit heavier than v8, I like the quality for that and the suction is excellent Very recommended to buy

Better that expected

I bought this recently for all the hard floors in our new house. Very happy with it and so easy to use. I still use my corded upright Dyson for carpets but the Gen5 detect is more effective and efficient on our Hybrid Flooring. I can do all the floors, edges and skirting boards with a full battery. I have used some of the provided attachments as well. Still more to explore. Bought 2 weeks ago.

Smart machine!

I love everything about this new vacuum except for the weight. It’s not a problem for my husband, but the heaviness is uncomfortable for my hand. Love the dust detection and smart features. Great upgrade from my 10 year old Dyson cordless.

Very heavy

Good Vacuum, sucks good, easy to empty but very heavy to use. Would flag this version to buy a lighter one in the future

Best Vacuum I’ve Owned

I’ve been using this vacuum for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with it. The suction is excellent, it’s easy to use, and I love the laser light on hard floors—it shows dust you can’t normally see. It’s a bit pricey, but I don’t regret buying it.
