The Dyson V8 Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner is engineered with the power, versatility, tools and run time to clean homes with pets. The specialized Fluffy cleaner head is gentle on hard floors but tough on dirt. It is engineered with soft woven nylon and anti-static carbon fiber. Dyson s de-tangling Motorbar cleaner head deep cleans all floor types, with stiff nylon bristles to remove ground-in dirt from carpets. The innovative Hair screw tool with a conical brush bar is perfect for cleaning upholstery and pet beds. The Dyson V8 Absolute has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust, expelling cleaner air. Thanks to the cordless format, it also transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click so you can clean up high, down low and everywhere in-between. I bought v8 absolute about3 weeks ago and it has not run for 2 minutes and dies out. I cal edsupport and waiting for a part. very dissatisfied witing and waiting.

Needs trigger lock

I would not have purchased this vacuum had I known you have to hold the trigger continuously while vacuuming. This is especially difficult for those of us with arthritis. I had to purchase a trigger lock made by a third party. Very disappointing waste of money.

Great machine

Bought because I was struggling with wired cleaner, what a difference. Good battery time, good suction. Weight is not too heavy and machine is easy to manoeuvre and to empty. Originally bought because of health problems and not regretting it.

My Third Dyson in 20 years

This is my third Dyson, my second handheld. The suction is notably better than the earlier model. I have hardwood floors and it works wonderfully on them. I'll never buy another brand. Seriously, a vacuum cleaner is something you don't want to cheap out on. It costs you more in the end to replace a cheap knock off every year than to buy a Dyson that'll work for years.

Perfect grab and go hoover

This is the 3rd hoover I’ve had now and love it so much I have 1upstairs and 2 downstairs 1 off which is in the utility by the back door as living on a farm does get pretty messy with hay straw shaving dirt etc so easy to grab and go Just wish they did them with removable batteries so if you run out you can stick a spare in so you can carry on cleaning works with power tools so why not hoovers??
