The cordless Dyson Gen5outsize has the suction power of a corded vacuum. It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the larger size, power, intelligence, and additional run time to deep clean larger spaces. It has a 25% wider cleaner head and 150% larger bin compared to the Dyson Gen5detect, as well as twice the run time. The Dyson Gen5outsize covers more floor with each pass and allows for more cleaning between bin emptying and charges. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up.(4) The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. The Fluffy Optic cleaner head reveals invisible dust on hard floors. The extra wide de-tangling Digital Motorbar XL cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors without tangles. Its versatile cordless format transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click, and the wand detaches to reveal a ready-to-go tool for continuous cleaning. Very loud

I would like to know if it’s normal I have owned several Dyson cordless vacuums and this one is very loud . Could something be wrong with it ?

Great features easy to us

We have had it about two weeks now. We love it. Strong suction and large capacity make it easy to use. The Double battery packs are a great idea as well easy swap out while using it runs out of juice.

Unimpressed with business policy

I like the vacuum but i was unable to return the extra attachments I purchased.... even though they are unused and in unopened boxes.

We have not opened the box yet!!! Just wanted to buy it on sale!! Our current Outsize is still working great!! However, the sticker that joins to the head is extremely loose from wear!! Honestly it is a magnificent machine!! Well worth the extra money spent!!! E look forward to using it for some time!! Before retirement!!! GRH

I bought my Dyson Gen5 about a month ago I am very pleased , especially the suction , the only negative I have so far is that it's definitely heavier than my previous Dyson cordless
