Supple leather, narrower fit

I have never worn this brand of boot before so I wasn't sure how sizing ran. My normal shoe size is 9.5 but I generally wear boots and sneakers in size 10 so I ordered this boot in size 10. When I was younger, I would wear narrow shoes but now I very seldom find brands that even offer narrow sizes so I wear medium. However, my feet are definitely still on the narrower side, even though I am now 51 years old. I say all that to say that the width of the boot was fine for me, but if your foot is truly medium or wider, you will probably find this boot too narrow. Also, the boot is sort of difficult to get my foot into. The area of the boot with the bunched up leather is very difficult to get the front of your foot past. But, with effort, I did get my foot in the boot and the toe box itself felt roomy enough. I liked the heel height of this boot-not too high but not flat. The gray color is the reason I returned this pair. It seemed to be a greener gray and all my pants were a bluish gray.
