Feedback on Ring Purchase

My husband bought this ring for me. The ring was beautiful and I really loved it. Unfortunately, the stone fell out, so I had to return it. I was hoping to exchange it for the same ring, but I was told in the store that it couldn’t be exchanged because it was third-party merchandise. I understand policies are different, but it was disappointing since I really loved that ring. In the end, we had to pick a different style.
