Don't buy! Doesn't last.

My middle schooler only used it for less than 8 months and the fabric ripped. It was not covered warranty. This will be our last product from this brand.

Well built! Would buy again!

Love my surge back pack so far. I am 6ft. 2 in and it's comfortable. A great travel and every day pack with the ability to hit the trail.

First time pretty happy

I never had a north face back pack however between the other models this is the one. Everything is functional, love the pockets and the comfort. Only detail, please add a luggage belt. Beside that I love it

Perfect Backpack

I've had this backpack for 3 years now. Perfect for the past 3 years of college. I even bring it on trips and it's perfect. I literally love this backpack and recommend it to everyone. I fit multiple notebooks, iPad, large laptop, chargers, pens, pencils, headphones, calculators, and more in this thing and still could put a sweatshirt or something if I needed to.

Durable and spacious

I purchased this same style for my son over 10 years ago, and it lasted through high school, undergrad, and most of grad school. We decided to buy another one, and it appears to have the same quality and durability.
