Good

I am using grocery bags that are made into yarn. After attaching the top and bottom, I tied it off, then created a new tie at the bottom on the Dow. I had to unwind my yarn, and I’m not quite sure how much I need for the weaving part.

Poor directions & false advertising re: tutorial

Instructions are not nearly specific enough. I finally got it assembled and prepared to watch the video with my granddaughter - however - there is no video at the URL provided!! Now that it’s assembled, I’ll have to guess what ‘tie a section of yarn to yarn’!!

Horrible Instructions

I feel like I have to leave a review like many others about how horrible these instructions are only to further urge Melissa and Doug to address it. There is so much potential with this product if they figure out how to write better instructions.

Melissa and Doug Loom Kit

The instructions are very poor. It has listed there are tutorials on the website but there isn’t any to be found. This is listed for children 6 and up so thought my 7 year old would enjoy this however it has just caused frustration.

POOR INSTRUCTIONS

Unless you already have experience with looms you’re going to be frustrated very quickly especially if you and your child are setting it up together. There is no video to go to like it mentions in the instructions and then have the audacity to call them to try and walk you through it*insert maniacal laugh*

Cool kit! Crummy instructions.

Nice quality kit, as usually with Melissa and Doug! But I will reiterate other reviews and say the instructions are pretty poor. This webpage is supposed to be the link to the instructional video, per the instruction pamphlet, but I have yet to find a video…
