Versatile Jacket

Writing this a few months after purchasing. I took this jacket as my singular jacket to backpack Europe for 5 weeks in May 2026. This jacket survived pouring rain in Budapest, snow in the Swiss alps, nights out in Paris and everything between. I love this jacket and I’m so proud of it. Have to throw it in the dryer after the wash to keep its performance. I’ll see this jacket in my closet and be reminded of what we went through together

Love this jacket!

I lost this jacket on travel and missed it so much.... I had to buy another one!! I love the versatility of the jacket for between seasons and even most of the VA weather. Hold back the rain and cold like a champ. This is a must buy :)

Just a meh jacket

I was looking for a spring/fall jacket for Michigan – one that would work in 40-65 degree weather, with a hood and be able to withstand blustery winds that make it feel 5- -10 degrees colder, as well as rain showers that can suddenly arise when you’re out on a walk away from your house or car. So, I ended up buying five jackets while on sale – Hydroforce Full Zip Hoodie, Hikebound II Insulated Jacket, Arctic Peak Full Zip Fleece, Ascender II Hooded Softshell Jacket, and Glennaker II Sherpa Lined Jacket - to see which one would work for me. Unfortunately, none of them did. I’ve left reviews under each of them. Ascender II Hooded Softshell Jacket – Many people might really like this jacket. But to me, it was just “meh”. Not a bad jacket, just nothing that I could point to and say “I really like this jacket”. So, this one went back.

This is a replacement. The first one was misplaced. My husband loved it so much we bought it again. It is a great jacket. Dressy enough yet casual too
