Nice dress but needs altering. 5ft. 8in. 180lbs.
I want to start by saying I am a large chested gal. I am a size 12 and got a size 14. It was a touch too big but was comfortable. The top was really billowy. Not the part of the dress that was in contact with my body but the outer layer of material on top. It made me look huge. It definitely did not fall as low as it shows on the model. I took it to the seamstress for altering and had her tuck in as much of the extra material on top as possible to make it look more flattering. It easily could have used more alt. Other than that, it was very comfortable. It felt appropriate for the Gala we went to. Good quality material. I saw some of the plastic piping exposed on some bottom ruffles. Nothing insane or too noticeable but for the price, would like to of not seen. Great dress for when you feel bigger and want to eat comfortably :) Disnt do any dancing but would have been great for that. The slit at the bottom was a perfect peakabo of skin and made the movement of the dress pretty and fun.
Perfect bridesmaids dress
Wore this dress to my best friend’s wedding as a bridesmaid and it was so gorgeous. Loved the ruffles! So fun to dance in and got compliments all night.

In love with the RUFFLES!!!
I'm glad I learned to size down in Mac Duggal formal dresses. This one fits great, except that the shoulders will need to be altered slightly and, of course, the length. Love this dress. It feels expensive and looks amazing!

Nonstop compliments from total strangers!
I bought this in red, paired it with natural heeled "X" slip on wedges from Tommy Bahama, oversized costume gold starfish earrings, a Tommy Bahama beautiful woven clutch with gold accents with red coral embroidery, and a wrap I picked up while on business in Abu Dhabi years ago to cover my head as I toured the Grand Mosque....and as I dined with our family at Atlantis Bahamas fine French Cafe Martinique and then later walked through then danced a bit at Atlantis Bahamas Casino... the compliments from total strangers were nonstop even in passing. Gorgeous dress to wear and I am 56 yo with a well-earned, treasured, completely imperfect body that has stood the test of time. This dress fit so well on me, my daughters told me to buy it in black as well for whatever next formal event I have.... It is truly a stunning dress that looks beautiful on a young and not young body!
