Doesn’t work

I have the entire suite of the GE Café appliances and I bought this Coffee maker in December and already the grinder is having trouble and I can’t use it anymore and have to put in a ground coffee which was not the point of buying this machine. I’m really disappointed.

Flawed Grinder Makes Terrible Coffee

A lot of good about this machine but at the end of the day, it just can't brew a consistent and good cup of coffee due to a severely flawed grinder design. Beans rarely feed properly leading to weak & watery coffee or non-stop "Add Beans" error. Manufacturer recommends using only light beans to solve this which is totally ridiculous, especially at this price point. The remote features are totally useless since you have to be right there babysitting the grinder. So disappointed.

We'd like to help with getting a better brew out of your unit. Using coarser grind sizes will result in less surface area of the coffee grounds for extraction, consequently producing a lighter flavor. Smaller grind sizes will result in more surface area of the coffee grounds for extraction, consequently producing stronger flavors. We recommend adjusting the grind size until the coffee tastes to your preference. We also recommend a grinder setting of 3 for a balanced extraction.

Beautiful but did not fit under my cabinets

I really wanted to love this. It’s beautiful well crafted everything about it is what I was looking for. I should’ve measured first. It was 0.25 inches too tall to fit under my counter. Which probably says way more about my cabinets in this brand new home, but I’ve literally never had to measure a coffee pot in my life with 100% love to have tried this and probably kept it if it would’ve fit.

Worked for 2 years

Worked pretty good for 2ish years, stopped grinding beans even after cleaning. There are better options at a lower price point, this had a lot of potential but it's not worth the price.

Worst coffee maker EVER

I would give this coffee maker 0 stars if I could. First, from the start the carafe required a bit of jiggling to get in its place The coffee it brewed was ok. But the water canister is HORRIBLE. I have had the appliance for 20 months and I woke up to water all over the counter b/c the water canister is now leaking - it is completely unusable. Of course there is no recourse as they do not replace countertop appliances after 12 months. I could buy a new water canister but why spend that money knowing it will likely break as well. I can't believe I spent the money I did on this thing..

Worth another investment

We love the coffee we get from this coffee maker!! However, this is the 2nd one we have purchased in just over a year. The first one stopped working on us. We took a chance on buying this a second time. If it lasts longer than the first, we will update the rating to 4 or maybe even 5 stars.
