Thoughts after 5 years

I have had this coffee maker for over 5 years and I have never not been happy with my choice in getting it. I am the only on in my home that drinks coffee regularly so having something that makes a variety of single serve sizes as well as the big pot for when people come over is great. Pros: -No pods. So many single serve machines only use pods and i was so happy to find one where I could just use regular filter and measure it out myself -The place where you put in the filter and coffee swings out instead of up which is really nice if you plan on putting this under your cabinets. No having to pull the whole machine out every morning to full it up. - Ice coffee setting. probably not as special anymore as it's become more common and some even have clod brew settings not, but it is the only setting I use in the summer. It's great. -It is truly so easy to use. The process is the same for basically every function, the scoop tells you just how much to put in for each setting. Its a good coffee maker. Cons: -The lack of oz indication is the only genuine problem I have with this machine and truly what makes it a 4 star instead of 5. For the settings I use a lot, I know which of my mugs will fit what, And it doesn't effect my day to day use, but I still find myself periodically looking up how many oz the xl travel mug picture is supposed to represent when it should just be on there. -The water reservoir is kinda hard to clean since the shape gives it a few hard to reach spots. Its not that big of a deal since you shouldn't have to clean it that much, but still. - Since the back is open and I mostly use regular mugs, I do get minor coffee splatter on the wall behind it. Doesn't bother me but might bother you (seems like these are not in the newer model but I'll note them anyways since they are still in other similar products) - The frother is short and does not give you much clearance for your cup. If you really want a frother your better off just getting a separate one since they take up so little space anyways. I though it'd be nice to use on occasion but its honestly not even worth it, I don't think I've used it in 3 years. - The straw thing that shoots down from the lid of the carafe has no purpose that is worth how annoying it is to clean. I rarely use the full pot so it doesn't bother me that often but I always hate cleaning it This coffee make has served me well. I am looking into getting something new because over the past year it has started making less coffee that it is supposed to. It's also started tasting slightly worse just from age and the plastic having taken on old coffee taste form being used nearly every day for the past 5 years. There are just enough features that I never really ended up using that I'm not really considering rebuying this, but I have always been very happy I got this, especially in college.

Very happy with our purchase

We bought this to replace a failing Keurig, and were able to replace our B&D coffee maker at the same time. Most importantly, the Ninja makes great hot coffee, whether by the pot or single cup. Our son enjoys the cold brews. It also brews hot coffee faster than the previous machines, and we like that we don’t have to use filters or pods. All-in-all, totally happy with the purchase!

This is such a great machine I’m very happy with it

I love all the options, you can do a single cup, a thermos size and a carafe either half or full and you can do cold brew, over ice, or hot. You also have a choice to make it rich or classic. On the side there is a handy scoop that tells you the exact measurements for each size. Ninja is the best for kitchen contraptions I can’t wait to try more!

Coffee makers

I bought this to replace the original 12 cup with the metal carafe. The 10 cup one doesn't brew or extract the coffee like the other one did. I can't understand why you would stop making such a great coffee maker. Not very smart for your company to do. I recommended your product's to everyone because of the quality. You are not putting the quality in the new coffee makers. You never answered my request for the metal carafe when I wrote your company either. Not good business.

I bought this over a year a ago and I loved it. I am so bumbed that it is no longer working. I have tried everything. It makes a griding noise and tells me to add water. Followed all the online indtruction. I guess it was a maintainence issue. I loved it until this happened. Debating how to replace it.
