Shadow pattern overcoat

I bought the overcoat because it’s what I call a shadow look, my words. A shadow look to me is the coat, pant, etc that looks solid from a distance but when folks walk up they can’t help but compliment the look because there is actually a pattern in the fabric they thought was solid. I also have another topcoat like this in a pinstripe that looks solid black until you get close and can see the shadow of a light dark charcoal pinstripe. I get so many compliments on that coat and it’s over 10 years old. This new shadow pattern overcoat buy from Macy’s will get the same compliments I just hope it last as long.
