One of the Best

One of my absolute favorite sets so far. The Milky Way far exceeded my expectations. I had been eyeing this set for a long time and finally purchased during Lego's discount event. I have Starry Night, the Wave, and the Sunflowers all from the Lego art collection, but this is absolutely the best of the bunch. Until you see it in person, you can't appreciate how dimensional the build is. I also loved that the build was split into 15 base plates, which made it easy to do a little bit each day with a finite stopping point. Having built many other sets, I think this provides a lot of value for the price and the finished product looks great.

Very cleverly made.

An interesting build. Love the way it comes together. Some interesting pieces used to provide the textures, who would have thought of hairbrushes and whisks. It’s also quite forgiving if pieces come off and replaced in slightly different places. A few sore fingers but well worth it.

Glactic Fun!

Love this set! So many fun wacky pieces repurposed into a multicolored, multidimensional work of art. I loved opening each bag and thinking "what? A hairbrush??" It looks better in person than it does on the box-- the colors really pop! I can't wait to have it up on the wall for friends to look at and see everything they can find.

The Milky Way is gorgeous!!! A stunning piece to add to my collection, build is quite hard on the fingers - but it so makes up for it in the end product!! It’s an AMAZING piece, that will be proudly displayed in my Lego room!

Gorgeous and relaxing

This set completely exceeded my expectations. What I thought might be a somewhat tedious build because of the sheer number of small pieces turned into nearly 16 hours of pure bliss. In fact, I ended up getting my nails redone and shortened just so I could enjoy the build more comfortably. Human dedication to plastic bricks remains one of civilization’s more charming quirks. The building experience was incredibly relaxing and gave me a much-needed excuse to slow down and step away from work for a while. Each section came together beautifully, and I found myself looking forward to every new step rather than rushing to finish. The colors are absolutely stunning. Photos really don’t do them justice. The palette is vibrant, elegant, and makes the finished model stand out as one of the most beautiful LEGO sets in my collection. Even after completing it, I keep finding myself stopping to admire all the little details. Another surprise was the size. The finished set is significantly larger than I expected, which makes it even more impressive on display. It has a real presence without feeling overwhelming. This wasn’t just a LEGO build for me. It was a genuinely relaxing experience that helped me disconnect, recharge, and enjoy creating something beautiful. Easily one of my favorite sets, and one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a rewarding, calming build with a spectacular final result. 🩷🧱✨
