from space nerd: would recommend!!

I genuinely loved building this so much. Got it about a year ago, and sat down and finished the entire thing in one night. I found the 3-dimensional aspect of this piece to be incredibly detailed, and I love how the galaxy looks like it's "popping out" of the frame. The attention to detail on the lego creators' behalves is nothing short of flawless. Not only that, but even just the small little "space references" within the galaxy is incredible. There is information within the instructions that guides you through the meaning behind each little astrophysics easter egg, and coming from someone whose special interest is space, I thought it was amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend buying (PSA: if you aren't really a small pieces and fine motor skills person, maybe tread with caution? Otherwise go for it!)

Going On The Wall!!!

This was an amazingly fun build! The intricate little details and the way things all came together was over the top spectacular! Highly recommend this for couples! My wife and I took turns being “sorters” and “builders”

Perfect For Everyone At Any Skill!

I got myself this to work on while recovering from surgery. The way it is created tile by tile was conducive to my recovery so that at the beginning I was completing one tile a day and by the end was finishing four in a day. It was meditative to just look at all the little pieces and connect them. I recommend this all the time to non-Lego people looking for a project to destress.

Escapism at its finest!

I grew up with Legos and left them for a decade or so, until the company really started to invest in home decor designs. I came back to my Legos love with a Mini Cooper build in 2017 and have really enjoyed the Botanicals builds. The Milky Way Galaxy caught my eye on its first release, and then when I was looking to "treat myself" after a busy stretch of work, I immediately thought of this set. My only "compliant" is that I built the art too quickly ;)
