now I know why it discounted

I 1st complain about the bottom of the shelf not being welded correctly, the screw could not be seated. Now that I have put it together - it is a piece of the CHEAPEST thing I have ever purchased in my 70 years. The screw holes for the wood top were predrilled at an angle so all 4 screws split the wood. I am disgusted with the whole encounter. Shame on Macys for offering such inferior product
