This is by far the best most durable piece of luggage I have ever owned! My daughter had an initial monogram luggage tag especially made for me as a surprise which sets the piece apart even more! I recently took it on a small trip and had no issues. I would like to purchase a plastic cover for it to protect it as it is already dinged. The only downside is I wish both sides could be zipped up like my husband’s samsonite.

Great midsize bag

This is a great midsize bag. I was able to comfortably fit everything I needed for a 7 day work trip that included professional and casual outfits. Very light but sturdy bag, I look forward to using it on my longer trips. The blue color made it easy to find at baggage claim.

Should not look beat up after 2 trips, but it does. Way too expensive. Not up to Tumi reputation

This was a beautiful suitcase out of the box. 2 trips later, the corners are beat to crap, the shiny surfaces are scuffed and scratched, the TSA lock fell off, and I had to tape shut the buckle of the leather luggage tag as it never would have made it through the baggage claim still attached. The suitcase is light and easy to pack, but I’m very disappointed with the cheap, chintzy exterior and not at all durable details at this price point.

the casing itself is too sensitive but the expandable/light weight concept is wonderful. I prefer the aluminum shell.
