Good but Loud

I’ve been a loyal Vornado customer for decades and unfortunately this is probably by least favorite product. The heat delivery is as advertised and warmer than other Vornado heaters I’ve owned. That said, one thing I’ve always appreciated about Vornado heaters is their relative quietness. This one is definitely not that. It’s got a very distinct and loud fan noise, and especially so when it is set to high. If that’s not a bother, you’ll love this unit as it is small and stylish and puts out good heat, though if I had a do-over, I’d choose a different Vornado.

Worked great, was loud

Was louder than what one would like, however it stopped blowing. Ive tried resetting it but still not working. Its less than 6 mo old. Ive never had this kind of luck with Vornado heaters. They've always been my 1st choice until now

Terrible model. Gets stuck in different modes (in LOW but acts like FAN only, surges between different settings), often toggles fan span erratically regardless of what setting it is in. Goes from silent to super loud and all over the place. I even filed a warranty claim and I was sent a new model with the exact same issue. A real disaster of a product.

Good heater!

This heater is just like your furnace. Set the temperature you want and enjoy. I have bought two more for family and friends. Everyone likes this heater and the remote control that comes with it.

Very Noisy

I bought this heater because of the remote control and the timer features, which are nice features. This heater does work well to heat a small room; however, it is very loud. On high speed, it sounds like a box fan that can be heard upstairs when it is on downstairs. On low speed it has a low tone thumping sound. It is too loud to be left on when going to sleep. I own two other Vornado heaters and they can barely be heard, even on high speed. While this heater works, it is too loud to be used as a bedroom heater as I intended.

Just right for my space

I bought this to heat a small and sometimes coolish studio space. The area already had old electric wall heaters that could be used when needed, but I was worried about something catching on fire if too close. So I purchased the Vornado. I find that it warms the room quickly to whatever temp I set it at and I can place it in a safe area due to its portability. Probably uses less energy too. Yes, I would recommend.
