Poor Locking & Sizing

I usually absolutely love their products, but in this case, I was very disappointed. The sizing on the website was incorrect as it relates to the pounds of food that will fit. If you’re looking for something that will fit a 28 bag of dog food, do not go with the large. You actually have to go with the biggest one for that to fit. Another issue has been the locking mechanism. It’s very loose and does not line up properly so the freshness is at risk unless you make sure it locks and you actually have to pull it to the left for it to even align properly. Again, I’ve never had issues with their products before, so I really wanted to share this.

Pet Food Can

I have been eyeing this can for years and finally just broke down and bought it. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. It's very sturdy and nicely made. I'm glad that I finally bought it.

Does NOT hold 32lbs kibble

I bought to store kibble that comes in 32lb bags—the container barely holds 20lbs. But turns out I like the concept so kept it and have found storage for the remainder of food until I need it. Ridiculous considering the price though.

Large Pet Food Can

Exceptionally made. Some might think the handle and sealing mechanism is complicated, but it completely makes sense after a day of using it. When you grab the handle, you want the handle to be secure when you grab it and at the same time, you don’t want the seal accidentally open. simplehuman figured out a simple way to resolve this. Well done!
