Disappointed

I was excited to get this coat for an upcoming fall trip to Europe, but was extremely disappointed when I took it out of the box. It is very thin, flimsy, has a shiny texture (which isn’t visible from the website photos), runs small in the arms and shoulders, and the navy color looks grayish and utilitarian. Returned immediately.

Barbour Flyweight Cavalry jacket dark blue color

Barbour Flyweight cavalry jacket is very stylish, nice color and very wood quality. I ordered it for my daughter as a gift and she like it although it is a little too tight, has very narrow arms. I strongly suggest to size it a one size up.

Loved it

Perfect fit. I size up from my regular 10 to a 12. Much better fit. Navy color is beautiful. My only complaint is that the pattern on the quilt doesn’t line up at the seams. As an amateur seamstress it is a pet peeve of mine. I noticed it on the website but decided to buy it anyway. It is lite weight and will be perfect for my coming trip to Europe this month. Rate 9 out of 10.

Love Barbour but fit is a miss

Love Barbour and have other jackets but just unsatisfying fit in this one. Sized up as recommended but then it was too large in some areas. Another size wouldn’t work.

Well made and nicely tailored. Runs small. I’m normally a size 2 and the size 6 is a comfortable fit for me. I can wear a sweater under it.
