Not a fan

I'm not liking this coffee maker much. I've had it for a few months and it still has a burnt plastic smell. Even my coffee smells like that. I thought it would go away, but it hasn't. Also, in order to get ALL the water and coffee out, you have to lift it ALL the way upside down. The water and coffee won't completely empty the unless you tip totally upside down. That bugs me.........

Okay coffee pot.

The pot has a little lip that causes water and coffee to get trapped. How the pot seats itself is also kind of frustrating. Coffee has been good though. I did expect a little better quality from the brand.

Not Entirely Satisfied

First week using my coffee maker and not entirely satisfied with it. The brewing process is great so is the maker keeping the pot/ thermo hot after it automatically shuts off after brewing. The problem is getting the last cup out.. you have to unscrew the lid and literally hold it upside down due to the lip design preventing it from a final pour. One other minor issue, as a person with physical disabilities, the lid cover which lifts to add water & coffee doesn’t hold. You have to use both hand or as I did ( use a large spoon laid across to hold the lid ( propping it up) to add the coffee and water. Quite a challenge for a person who lives alone and has physical disabilities. I’ll keep it and adjust to it which is much better than scheduling transportation to the nearest UPS store and ship it back. Someone should test, examine the use of their products and designs before marketing and be aware that it is a reliable product for all consumers.

Poor performance.

The timer doesn’t work, and the clock doesn’t work. We set the timer for 7:00 am and it starts making coffee at 4:51am. The hole for the coffee to trip through is too small and can be easily clogged which causes a mess on the counter from coffee not dripping into the pot

Overall a great coffee maker

I love this coffee maker. The size is perfect because the most we drink at a time is 10 cups and I love the thermal carafe to keep it warm without that burnt taste. I've used the smaller brew option a couple of times and I think it's a nice feature but not a major selling point, although it would do great for iced coffee. The only improvement on design that I would like is that the top cover to the unit could open slightly further so it sits open on its own easier. It's not something that would keep me from purchasing it though. Overall, great coffee maker that I would purchase again, pending it lasts 3+years.

I realized too late that the carafe is steel, not glass. I’ll have to use my coffee cup to measure water correctly. Maybe my glass one will work? We’ll see tomorrow when I use it. Hate to have to return it!
