100% cotton?

These are very comfy pajamas, but like many pajamas nowadays that say they are 100% cotton I wonder why they have noticeable stretch in them. I have ordered Charter House pajamas before (the capri version) and though the material was lighter they were 100% cotton, no stretch. I noticed this material felt heavier and when pushing up sleeves was when I noticed the stretch. I checked the cuff area of the legs and was also able to pull the fabric out quite a lot, definite stretch. This adds to the heat retention whereas actual cotton does not stretch nor is it as warm to wear. Cotton is breathable, fabric with added “stretch” spandex or whatever is used to make the fabric stretchy it won’t breathe when worn. I am not returning but if I order other 100% cotton Charter House pajamas again I will open at the store and check to see if the material is stretchy. If you want 100% cotton be sure to check before you take home if ordering to be delivered to the store.

Comfortable

I'm enjoying these PJs so much, I just ordered another. Purchased it for the transitional weather from winter to spring. Mine fit perfectly in my regular size.

I should have listened to the reviews. Although the material is soft, it is very thin. Even the gray was partially see through. Will return them.

Cute but Thin

I have been purchasing Charter Club 100% Cotton women’s flannel pajamas for over 20 years! It was time for a couple new pair, so I ordered online. The design is a little different but they are a thinner fabric now. I didn’t read the description to see there were pockets in the pants. Why do we need pockets in pajamas? To put tissues in, so we forget to remove them before going in the washing machine? I decided to keep them, remove the pockets and stitch them closed.
