Neat idea but messy to clean

My grandson received this as a birthday gift from my mom (his great grandma) for his 4th birthday. While it is cool to see the drawings in the different colors, it is definitely a pain to clean, as others have mentioned. This set comes with neon, fluorescent gel markers that are specifically designed to interact with the board's LED lights for a glowing effect. It seems like you need to use both damp and dry napkins/paper towels or wash clothes to clean the screen with but it seems like you need to use a fresh set to clean after each drawing. The marker residue stays on the napkin or washcloth and if you use it more than once to clean the tablet, then marker residue from the cloth gets transferred back to the tablet screen.

Light Up Screen and Colors are Nice! Clean Up, Not

Our granddaughter loves to draw and the neon colors are cool. Cleaning, wiping the screen is messy.
