Comfortable but Fit Varies

The third pair of these same sandals I've purchased. The first pair fit perfectly, were attractive and oh so comfortable! I immediately ordered a second pair, same size but different color. To my surprise, the straps were too tight and the sandals had to be returned. Still loving the original pair, I ordered a third pair in a wider size. Happy to say the latest pair also fit perfectly and are similarly comfortable. I highly recommend these sandals but want to alert shoppers about the variation in tightness. If you're debating between M and W sizes, go with the W.

Too big and sizing down didn’t help

These seem like very nicely made sandals and I was excited to try them, but they are too big. I normally wear a 10, saw some people suggest these might be roomy, so ordered 9.5 as I have done in other Clarks sandals. The problem here is not the length, it’s more of a foot volume problem. As noted in other reviews, you need bigger, fleshier feet for these to work. I’m a plus size woman, have worn 10 for my whole adult life, but in midlife I am starting to find I sometimes need to size up to 10.5 and/or get a wide. Well here I am attempting to size down to 9.5 and these are still too big. As soon as I slip the sandal onto my right foot and try to walk, it slips right off. As for the left, it
