Perfect!

I wanted a down coat that was warm, but not too warm; that wasn't too puffy; that covered my rear end; that had a removable hood (and fur); that had zippered pockets on the outside and a pocket or two on the inside; in a color I liked; that I could afford. This coat has it all. I love it! It's kept me comfortable and warm during our cold, snowy northern Vermont winter. I highly recommend it!

More light weight than expected

I live in Massachusetts, so we get really cold and snowy winters. I ordered this after doing quite a bit of research on winter jackets and was disappointed in the weight when it ultimately arrived. I tried it on in my living room around 64 degrees and wasnt over heating, which I normally do in winter jackets inside. One review from a woman in Minnesota sold me, as she said this was the warmest jacket she's ever owned. But I have to disagree with that. It's great quality but not what I was looking for. Also, the material outside isn't water repellent at all, so this would be a bad snow jacket.

Cozy and warm.

I am very pleased with this coat. It is so cozy and warm. So far I’ve worn it into the low 30s and as high as 50 and it remains comfortable all the way. The chevron stitching is also very flattering and a nice touch.

It's just great!

Bought this coat when I lost my old winter coat. This was a HUGE upgrade. It is so warm and has so much functionality. It keeps me incredibly warm in the Midwest and it looks really nice too. I got the red color and it is much duller in person, more like a muted burgundy. I didn't mind because I prefer a more muted color, but just be aware of that. I'll have to see how it holds up over time, but for now, I'm loving it!
