Nice jacket with the feature that I wanted

I ordered this on sale late in the season, so this review is without a lot of wear. However, I ordered this parka because: it is a good length, it wasn't fitted, it could fit a sweater underneath, and I like to have both snaps and a zipper. This had all of the above, and I like the pockets. I ordered the blue, and it is a pretty color. Can't comment on warmth or wear.

Wonderful puffy oversize parka!

This parka ticks a lot of boxes for me. I love the mid thigh length, boxy slightly oversize cut, actual warmth (so many puffy coats aren’t actually warm), really warm puffy pockets that my phone stays secure in, generous hood, full range of motion in arms and shoulders, comfy fleece cuffs, super lightweight! The only down side is that the fabric very easily discolors from oil on one’s face, darkening the fabric around the chin/neck area. So I guess I’m going to have to be washing it a lot, unfortunately and crossing fingers it washes well without messing up the down. Would be perfect if there was some black fleece on the inside of the chin/zipper collar area, which would make it cozier and not take up oil like the poly fabric does.

Lightweight and warm

This is an incredibly warm jacket for colder temps , lightweight but super warm - fit is perfect for walking and daily use. Snap and zippers ensure no drafts. Lined pockets are extra warm

Put through the test…perfect score!

My first Marmot for the Great White North! It’s so stylish and fits comfortably. The material is light and keeps the bearer nice and warm. As a true GWN winter never fails, we have encountered snow, freezing rain, white snow squall, and cold temperatures— the coat has been put to the cold test over the last week and it has passed with flying colors!
