On December 3, 2024, I purchased a pair of Deer Stags Men’s Julian Tall Waterproof Boots - size 11 from Macy's as a Christmas present for my son. He received the boots on December 25th and wore them infrequently, as he only wore them when it snowed or rained. We live in Kentucky, so neither weather condition is frequent. Guesstimate that he wore them approximately 7 - 10 times from December 25 until April 12. On April 12, as he was walking, the sole separated from one of the boots. They were only worn on concrete, asphalt, carpet, tile, and wood floors in urban environments. I would expect that a quality-made shoe should last considerably longer than 3½ months and 7-10 times of wear. Macy's will not accept a return or replacement as it is past the 30 days of their policy. Requested replacement from Deer Stags directly. We'll see. But in general they are not great boots. Look great but materials and manufacture is subpar.
