killer elastic waistband
Men's Medium size (32") has a super tight elastic waistband more befitting an extra-small waist size. The silk is warm and a perfect base layer but the tight waist needs to be stretched or cut for them to be wearable unless you are super-thin.

Silk is my best friend
Moving to.a colder climate, the first thing I purchased was my silk underwear from Lands End. Durable, reliable and oh so comfy. Layering has never been easier.

Fantastic "Long Johns"
I love these "long johns". They are warm, comfortable, and look great. I bought one in each color!
Soft and comfy
Amazingly soft and clingy. And very warm. Fits very well, so perfect beneath other clothing.

Great product with one serious flaw…please fix!
These are hands down the best silk long underwear I've found in terms of thickness and warmth…absolute perfection. 5 stars for that. BUT, the ankles are poorly designed. It's the stitching that connects the stretchy cuff that baffles me. They're fine when on, but inexplicably tight with not nearly enough stretch/give in the stitching for putting them on and taking them off. I don't have large feet, and I can barely get the ankle of these things over my heel without popping stitches. I've been buying these for years—so many pairs—and only 1 iteration ever had enough stretch in that stitching to easily get them over the heel. I thought, finally, they fixed the problem! Nope. The next year they went right back. Sigh.
