The Sun Zero Grant Room Darkening Rod Pocket Curtain Valance delicately adorns the top of any window in your home. Pair with Sun Zero curtains or hang alone for maximum light exposure. Equipped with a rod pocket that fits curtain rods up to 1.5" in diameter. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry on low heat, using a cool iron as needed.

Great color

I’m very pleased with the color and especially the finishing on the bottom hem. But I wouldn’t consider them room darkening.

Not Bad

The valance served it's purpose. I was looking for a room darkening valance that was longer than what I have to block the sun from my eyes when I am at the sink in my kitchen. The color is pretty, but I feel it could have had a thicker material or lining for room darkening.

These curtains will blow your mind!

When I first got these curtains I was skeptical because they are so thin and light, I couldn't believe they could possibly block any more light than a regular curtain. I WAS SO WRONG!! These are the most amazing curtains I have ever seen! They are so light and drape so softly, and they absolutely block every tiny bit of light - full sun can't get in during the day and 4 100 watt bulbs can't get out at night. As a night worker, darkness in the daytime is essential for my sleep and health and these curtains deliver. I have already recommended them to several coworkers and they have not been disappointed.

Wonderful Curtains!!

I love the fabric. Very soft and breathable. Not transparent at all! The only thing that I was not too crazy about is that unless your rod goes quite a bit further than the actual window, it will still let light in on the sides. Also with the curtains hanging on the rod, it did protrude a little, also allowing light around the edges (probably just the way my rods/windows are).

Works pretty well overall

It works quite well. We used it to cover our dens windows. We can still see a little sun. But not much. Over all I say it works to keep about 85% of the sun out.
