FOUND A WINNER!

My husband, 85, is quite fussy about his shirts; they need to be long sleeved, fairly long body but not for "tall" men, soft and stays soft through many washings, is a collared polo shirt, and comfortable for a bit of a "Buddha" bellied older man. His only negative about this shirt is that there are not enough light colored shirts offered in this category. In the south, we like light colored quality shirts like the "men's long sleeve super soft Supima Polo Shirt shown above. Finally FOUND A WINNER!

Enthusiastically recommend

The Pima cotton is beautiful and soft. The shirts wash well and hold their color several seasons. We buy both the long and short sleeve versions as we have found them superior to others.

Absolutely best value for long sleeve polo shirts

Over the last 35+ years, I have ordered perhaps 15-20 Lands End's long sleeve polos (both kinds of cotton weaves) for golf, and have had my logo put on them. I buy polos wih long sleeves in order to protect my arms from the sum. They are, BY FAR, the best value for the cost -- quality is at least as good, if not better than, Ralph Lauren's Polo or any other long sleeve golf shirt -- for lower cost, sometimes far lower. (I know, because over the years I have looked everywhere!). Initially, at six feet tall I orderd the regular size, but figured out I should order the "tall" because of shrinkage during the frequent washes/dryings. These shirts last a long time. For my most recent order I again got the "medium tall" size and was so very happily surprised that Lands End has apparently added at least two inches to the bottom of the shirt, to prevent it from coming out of the back of my trousers when I play golf. So Lands End made a terrific shirt even more terrific. Thank you Lands End. My only disappointments are that over the years: (1) there have been fewer colors to choose from from, and (2) there are far fewer shirts with a pocket available. Lands End: Please, more shirts with pockets so I can carry my glasses in them when not playing golf!!!

Long sleeved polo

Exactly what I wanted! My dermatologist wants me to stayed covered when I am outside, what better way to that with my favorite polo.
